A BIG “THANK YOU!”
The City of Lula would like to extend a BIG THANK YOU! For all of you who participated in this year’s 43rd Annual Railroad Days Parade and Festival, the events were a BIG success (regardless of the threat of rain) and we certainly recognize that our success is based upon participants like you who go out of there way and put forth all the effort in making this such a wonderful event for the surrounding communities.
As this year’s parade and festival were a little hampered by the threat of rain and meager forecast (boy were they wrong) we already are making plans to “go all out “for next year’s event as we celebrate the 44th Annual Railroad Days, scheduled for Saturday May 9th 2019 with the biggest and best parade ever, more entertainment, and even more wonderful festival additions!
We would love to hear from you as to your thoughts and comments as to what additions to our events you would like to see considered so take a second and jot down your thoughts and forward them to CITY HALL for consideration. In the meantime, mark your calendar for next year’s parade and festival and begin to prepare for the biggest and best event ever!

Monday May 27th at 10:00AM -Lula Veterans Park, join us in recognition of the sacrifices and in appreciation of our military efforts throughout history. Special Guest Speaker Sgt Major Natividad, Hall County Color Guard, Patriotic Songs and Camaraderie
8th Annual Classic Car Show
Saturday June 22, 2019 8th Annual Classic Car Show – Rafe Banks Park. Entry fee $20. No Judging, people’s choice, top 27 plus Presidents Choice. BEST CHEVY, BEST FORD, BEST MOPAR, BEST PONTIAC, BEST ROD, UNDER CONSTRUCTION, RAT ROD. Entertainment and food available. Proceeds used to enhance the City through the Historical Society. Lula Fall Festival
Saturday October 5th, 2019 Historical Society Fall Festival, at the Newly Renovated Lula Train Depot, Theme is Arts and Craft, Children’s Activities. 2018 was a huge success and we expect to expand this year. Veterans Day Celebration
Monday November 11th, 2019, at 10AM, Lula Veterans Park Enjoy special guest speakers, wonderful local entertainment and a chance to meet and greet our area veterans!
Annual Christmas Parade and “Christmas in the Park” Festival
