Governor Brian Kemp and Commissioner Kathleen Toomey, M.D., M.P.H., announced last week to add adults aged 65 and older-effective January 11, 2021, law enforcement officers, firefighters and first responders to the current group of individuals eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccination in Phase 1-A.
Appointments will be made for residents in the county in which they live or work.
District 2 Public Health is adjusting our online scheduling tool so residents can make an appointment for the vaccine. We are also adding capacity to our call center to handle the large volume of phone calls.
We hope to have this operational very soon. Please have patience.
