The Brand New Playground is open for fun and adventure. As many of you are aware the old playground equipment was demolished from a fallen tree back in late October. The city council was committed to replacing the playground as soon as possible, but….. the availability of inventory (with Covid) was a challenge, fortunately, the council approved a bigger and better replacement.
Our biggest challenge ended up being the weather, rain, rain, and more rain! It just seemed to never dry out enough for us to get in a do the final grading and install the perimeter and mulch. Last week (it turned 70 degrees ) and we took advantage of the brief reprise and completed the installation !
The playground is designed for ages between 5 to 12 years old with adult supervision, so be thankful for the all the rain we have gotten, but send up a few prayers for some more sunny days!
