45th Annual Railroad Days Parade Grand Marshall Principal Lynette Scheman
Ms. Scheman has agreed at the City’s request to represent all the area schoolteachers who during the Covid Pandemic have went above and beyond helping our children in our community to continue their education in these unique times. We are so fortunate as a community to have our educators maintain their commitment to this young generation of students. Join us this Saturday May 1, at 10 am for the annual Lula Railroad Days Parade on Main Street.
What a wonderful representative to lead this years parade, here’s a little background on Ms. Scheman…Lynette Scheman has been in the world of education since 1992. She has taught all grade levels pre-k through 5th grade throughout her career. She has been a classroom teacher, an instructional coach, Assistant Principal and currently serves as Principal of Lula Elementary School in Hall County. Lynette is married to Nick Scheman who has also been in education for the past 30 years. They have two adult children; her son, Joey, graduated from UGA as a mechanical engineer, and her daughter, Allison, will graduate from the College of Education at UGA this year and begin her teaching career for the Hall County School system this Fall. Lynette has been blessed to have had the chance to teach children and to represent the wonderful faculty and staff at Lula Elementary as well as all of the educators out there who have worked so tirelessly during this pandemic to make sure that the children of our community get a fantastic and deserving education.
