The annual Water Quality Report / Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) is published every year in June, reporting the quality and testing of our water for the previous year. The report reflects information provided by GA EPD through the course of several years and current year reporting for lab analysis. We monitor the 4 groundwater wells 24/7 and make over 260 site visits throughout the year, and as you will see, we take over 500 hundred tests on water samples through the year.
Not only do we have great-tasting water, but we also have the assurance in oversite and testing to ensure the quality of your water. Currently, the city council has purchased an additional location to develop another test well for water production, which will be underway in the coming months. It is key to ensure the quality and ensure we can try to meet our future needs. That being said, take the time to understand what a wonderful, limited resource we have in the water we currently have and help us be conservative in your use of water to ensure our current needs, especially during these hot- dry months of the current drought.
