Last year, Danny Thackston decided to bring his passion and 10+ years of automotive experience to Lula. He has since built up quite an impressive little shop on Main Street named Armored Xteriors. Inside that little shop, there are over 500 used tires, and he can almost guarantee to carry your size. If your size is unavailable, they can have new ones delivered to the shop the same or the next day with financing available.
Armored Xteriors is most widely known for its unique installation of the Bedliner, which is how the shop got its name. Danny will tell you that bed liners don’t stop at just the bed of trucks. That’s because you can practically add Bedliner on anything, including wood, plastic, fiberglass, metal, etc. They have coated boats, ambulances, four-wheelers, and just plain deck boards.
They are also famous for their unique ability to take spray bed liners and turn them into any off-roader’s dream by coating whole or partial vehicles in the polyurea-based product. It will not scratch, rust, or fade, and it’s easy to clean. A Bedliner not only makes vehicles look tough, “It is tough!”. But the best part is that they can make it any color and even add metal flake. You may have seen Danny’s big, bed-lined, lime-green monster truck driving around town or cruising in one of Lula’s parades.
