Karen and Amy purchased Lula Pharmacy & Foothills Gift Shop in 2008 because they wanted to have an old-fashioned, home town pharmacy where they could “treat you like family.” They underwent the very rigorous process to become an Accredited Provider for home medical equipment and supplies. Not every pharmacy is accredited, but Karen and Amy wanted to provide their patients with the best possible care and experience. Accreditation was the best way to achieve that goal.
Both Karen Bowling and Amy Miller grew up in the Gainesville area and graduated from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. Karen has spent her career practicing in and around the Gainesville area while Amy worked in several other states before settling back home. They both love working in a small town and getting to know their patients and their patient’s families.
We are proud to offer flu shots, pneumonia vaccines as well as B-12 injections with a physician’s order.
To help keep our community healthy, we also offer free Blood Pressure checks.
If your child won’t take his/her medication due to the taste….we can help. We can flavor almost any liquid medication so that it won’t taste “yucky.”
We also offer a notary service as well as fax and copier services.
Lula Pharmacy has someone on staff during most business hours that can speak Spanish.
We have a great line of unique gifts…from candles to jewelry to items for your home.
