Did you know that Georgia averages 26 tornadoes each year? The majority of these are in late winter and Spring, but they can occur any time of year. The “key” for all of us is to have a plan in the event of severe weather, make sure everyone in the family knows what to do and where to go in the event of dangerous weather conditions. This mornings weather siren was successful and could be heard up to 2 miles away so in the event of apparent BAD WEATHER listen to local weather coverage and in the event you hear the weather siren take cover immediately !
