First and foremost, we appreciate your attendance at the Lula Planning Commission Meeting, it is important to have the constituents involved in the development of your community.
As a reminder, the City Planning Commission, nor the Mayor or Council has taken a position “for” or “against” this request at the time of the hearing. The law requires all applications to be heard by the city as submitted. The city encourages your participation in this fair and equitable process (as prescribed by law) and welcomes your involvement in this orderly progression of the resolution to this particular application as allowed by law. The following information defines the procedure for the public hearing and public comment. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

- Notice the city council has chosen to make improvements to the council chambers over the coming months, all public meetings of the council and or the Lula Planning Commission will take place at the Lula “ Depot” until further notice. Effective March 3rd. The improvements include renovation to the chambers and restrooms, and the placement of audio / visual equipment so future public hearings can be available for public viewing.
- The City Council is completing the interview process for candidates to the planning commission and hopefully will bring their recommendation to the City Council for approval in March.
Come see proposed development applications as they are processed for consideration by the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission serves the public interest and works hard to understand and evaluate development applications to measure many different aspects of proposals before making recommendations to the City Council.
